This movie was a real surprise to me, I was expecting just a nice 90 min movie with James Bond in it.  I found a movie with real heart and Pierce Brosnan giving the best performance of his career.  We find Desmond Doyle (Brosnan) living in a poor Irish neighborhood with his wife and two kids.  After realizing that her husband can no longer support her she leaves with a rich man.  Because he can't support his family the government takes his children and the chances of getting them back is slim to none.  He receives the aid of Bernadette Beattie (Julianna Margulies) the local barmaid and her "Yankee" lawyer friend, Nick Barron (Aidan Quinn).  They get the job done but the movie really tries to make you cry way too hard.  It's still worth it to see Pierce Brosnan giving a great performance.
